The Town, Park & Garden Wildlife Discovery Pack is in a compact A5 format aimed broadly at the 5-10 year age group. It is an ideal resource to encourage and nurture that spark of ethusiasm and excitement gained particularly after a trip to a nature reserve or country park. It aims to remind children that there is a wealth of wildlife right on their doorstep, whether they have a rural garden of live in the centre of town. Children are engouraged to record what they see and find with the activity cards and are rewarded with a points system depending on how common or likely they are to see each creature, season to season. Children can have fun with a Treasure Hunt or Natures Rainbow and colour in the birds on the A3 'On my Bird Table' poster as they see them. There is a dry-wipe pen to mark the activity cards and a magnifying glass to search for minibeasts.
